Our Products Scale to Meet Your Needs

Harris software is fully scalable to your organization’s size and needs. From the smallest single-station setup to the largest corporation, Harris can configure a solution for you.

Single-Station Configuration
Harris integrates two servers (one database, one terminal) into the existing network infrastructure. End users connect to the application via Citrix (ICA Web Client) or Remote Desktop (RDP). The terminal server accesses the data on the database server. Print jobs are queued through the client’s connection (RDP or ICA).

Multistation (Centralized) Configuration
Harris integrates an array of servers (one database, up to 20 terminal) into the existing network infrastructure. End users connect to the application via Citrix (ICA Web Client) or Remote Desktop (RDP). The terminal server(s) access the data on the database server. Print jobs are queued through the client’s connection (RDP or ICA). Optionally, a disaster recovery server can also be configured.

ASP (Hosted) Configuration
Harris hosts the database in our co-located Data Center. Client connections are made via Citrix (ICA Web Client) or Remote Desktop (RDP). Print jobs are queued through the client''''s connection (RDP or ICA). Disaster recovery plans include real-time backup to a secondary data center and backup RAS accounts. All server maintenance is performed by our team of certified technicians.

Live-Update™
Live log editor for Osi-Traffic™ and ADC™

Overview
Harris® Live-Update™ connects your traffic schedule directly to your playlist using SMPTE BXF data exchange. Eliminating the need for manual communications and handwritten playlist changes, Live-Update is a simple workflow solution with big benefits.

Through seamless integration between Harris OSi-Traffic™ and ADC™, Live-Update enables the traffic schedule to communicate bidirectionally with a running playlist. Changes to the log can be made up to 15 minutes before airtime. After playout, the system reconciles content updates between the traffic department log and the automation playlist — and down the line to accounting for reconciliation.

In the day-to-day operations of the master control department, operators no longer need to dedicate huge chunks of time to manipulating playlists and manually inserting spot copy changes. The edits can be performed by the traffic department through Live-Update and communicated electronically throughout the workflow.

Increased Efficiency
• Instant bidirectional communication eliminates manual change errors
• Operator approvals enabled for last-minute playlist changes
• Master control teams stay focused on high-value tasks like prepping content for playout
